The idea for Tarab Dance Academy began during Wendy’s first year in the Oriental dance teaching program in 2017 in Santa Fe, Argentina. From that moment, her goal was to create a space where she could share the beauty of Oriental dance and her passion for this art form.

Although Wendy was born in Utah, United States, she grew up in Argentina. She began teaching at a local studio at the age of 17, working with young dancers between the ages of 4 and 8. In 2022, after five years of study and training, she graduated as a certified Oriental Dance teacher and professional dancer.

Two months later, she returned to Utah with the goal of building her own dance school. In August 2023, she founded Tarab Dance Academy with the intention of creating a welcoming space where students can learn, grow, and experience the richness of Middle Eastern dance.

Today, Wendy continues developing Tarab Dance Academy while working on new projects, performances, and opportunities to share this art form with a wider community. She believes the academy will continue to grow and looks forward to welcoming more dancers into the journey.
